09/08/2008 - Leak testing the tank

I borrowed a hydrometer off Ian my flying buddy that he used for testing for gas leaks.  Along with some snoop which he also used as it bubbles easier than soapy water.  Suffice to say I had a few leaks.  The inspection plate leaked like a sieve so I had to redo it, and some of the connections I had not used fuel lube so not strictly a tank leak but it wasn't helping.  The last leak was from the BNC connector being used for the tank gauge, it was leaking up through the middle of the connector.  I spent an age on this phase !
